Humanitarian reinstatement

hello all.

please help me on this,

if anyone of you had a problem like this,
please gime an idea.

my sponsor passed away last year,
i now received an ds 3032 form from the nvc.

how long will the uscis approve my humanitarian reinstatement?
can anyone give me a hint?

one of my cousin is having the same issue. His parents had filed for him under f2b category..but both petitoners have passed away. Then he selected his aunt as agent to recieve all the forms under choice of agent. Your family member or relative can be a joint sponsor to your application and then request USCIS to reinstate your case..
Please read through i-864 instructions and through nvc website where they have clearly mentioned...what you should do.

does the beneficiary needs to write to nvc or the substitute sponsor can do it alone?
didnt they notify the nvc that his parents passed away?

i think on I-864 you have to mention everything....I would suggest you seek advise from some immigration lawyer.
