  • didn't submit I-130 for spouse's daughter

    Hi,
I am US citizen. My wife and I married in US. Wife's I-130 form was submitted to USCIS and approved. We submitted docs in NVC where mentioned that want to bring wife's daughter (17 year old) and got message "The petition you have filed does not allow derivative status for family members ...". So now we realised that we had to submit I-130 form for wife's daughter also. Today I called to USCIS center. They said that daughter's I-130 form must be submitted, there is not way to join daughter's I-130 form to existing wife's I-130 form, they don't know anything about processing in NVC :-(
    Couple questions:
    - Is there any way to accelerate approval of daughter's I-130 form? at this moment, we have only 1 year until daughter will become 18 year old and it is not so much time.
    - Is there any way to connect wife and her daughter cases in NVC because it looks wife's case is hanged? Or she needs to re-submit DS-260 form without daughter?

One more additional question. Wife has B1/B2 visa which will expire in 2 years. Is it still valid?

    Currently, I plan to
    - submit daughter's I-130 form ASAP with copy of wife's I-797 form and explanation letter
    - get appointment in USCIS local office
    - send message to NVC (didn't find way to pass automatic answer system to talk with representative)

    Any suggestion will be helpful!
    Thanks!
