    Would engaging a lawyer expedite the processing time?

    My sister has recently become a US citizen. Im British and would like to move to New York to continue working in advertising (20yrs experience). If I engage a lawyer would this help speed the process up, I believe it

    For brothers/sisters of USC they are working on petitions from 2006, it is a long wait.
    Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
    Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
    Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021
