I-130 Approved for Brother

Hi,

My sister who is a US Citizen applied for me 14 months back. I am over 21. My I-130 just got approved. She received this notice of approval that says that they are now sending my application to National Visa Center for further processing.

Can I apply for I-485 (Adjustment of Status) if I go to USA. I have a valid visitor visa. If not, whats the next step.

You can apply for I-485 only if the priority date is current and takes around 10-12 years or even more for that to happen.

I currently outside US back in my Home Country and she applied at Vermont center. I have received the approval of I-130 notification.
