Anyone who has applied for PCC from Mumbai ?

Hi anyone who has applied for pcc from mumbai please let me know the steps. I was told that i need pcc from RPO mumbai and district police office also. Getting this certificate is time consuming process...anyone who has done can you please let me know the steps.

you can personaly go to the office and file do not hire any agent....my dad went to get one for him & my mom....my mom got hers in 4 days since she had travelled outside india within the six mth period, dad has to wait this is the district office and i believe its in dadar.

me also received AOS fee bil and DS 3032...aos fee bil paid and ds3032 send via email to nvc..waiting for nxt step

It is a very convoluted process.
you will need to get a PCC from Passport office
in parallel
you will need to have the applicant go to nearest police station and have the person fill a form there. The applicant will be asked to go to some regional office just to show the face. Applicant will get a surprise visit from a police officer. Applicant will get a PCC from local office after apprx 3 weeks.
