Hi,
My mother is LPR and she applied for her minor chidren. Her processing center is WAC which is California. She applied in Jan and it has been over 4 months now no update. We called USCIS yesterday and requested for expedite processing based on humanitirian grounds and received a response back from USCIS today asking for a letter to be faxed to them. Here is what they said
You may submit a letter explaining why your case qualifies for expedited handling. Please provide us any documentation or evidence you may have to support your request for expedited processing.
My question is - she is sad and depressed but she is not at a point where she needs to be admitted to the hospital. Her kids are also in a volatile country and alone with relatives. She is extremely worried about them ( I mean i dont need to tell you guys how important minor kids are to a mom, its given ) ..
Would just a letter faxed to USCIS by her suffice or should she need to submit some sort of a proof and if proof, what could be a good proof?
