Hi everyone. I received the approval notice from CIS about my I-130 petition;however, there was an error in the processing. The notice advises us to file for adjustment of status for my mother or to file the form for sending the petition from the CIS to the NVC. The problem is that my mother is not in the US and has never been here... I called CIS customer service and a representative there told me she would send a letter to the CIS detailing to error. It should take 5 days to hear back from CIS. Has anyone experienced something similar? Does it take more than 5 days to hear back?
