F4 interview in US or China? Currently with E2 visa live in NJ

I am currently working and living in New Jersey with E2 visa with my entire family. We are all Canadian citizen, but I was born in P.R. China. My sister petitioned F4 for me.

Any one with experience to have F4 interview in US vs. back to embassy in their born country?? Please share some of your thoughts of pros and cons to set up interview in US vs. in China for F4. Also, I am not sure if the interview schedule in US for F4 is as predictable as the schedule in China.

If you are in the US and in status on a month where the date on the AOS filing chart here is after your priority date, you can file I-485 for Adjustment of Status in the US, and your spouse and unmarried under-21 children can each file I-485 too. After filing I-485, you can stay in the US while it is pending, no matter how long it takes, even if your E2 status ends, and in fact you cannot leave the US while the I-485 is pending without getting Advance Parole. You can apply for EAD and Advance Parole for free as an I-485 applicant.
