  • F3 Visa Category. Eligible for Visa Filing

Hello, My Mother has sponsored Family based GC and I am under F3 visa category. My PD is 5th October 2007 in I-797 and looking at the August Month’s Visa Bulletin, the filing date is 22nd December 2007. So my PD is current. My question is will I be getting any letter from the NVC and if so, then how much more time will it take? Or do I have to do something now ?
    Thanks!

You will get something very soon, just make sure there is an active email for your case. My PD is 24th July 2007 and the NVC sent me case number by June 26th. I am now processing with them.

Have you received anything yet from NVC?

I called NVC 2 days back and they said they will start processing my case from August month onwards.

After following up with NVC regularly, they have shared case number and the invoice number. Going on to ceac.state.gov, I’ll need to pay the fees and start processing.
