I have all the docs ready for applying for the green card of my sister. I am a US citizen through naturalization. The issue is that when my sis got the certificate from the place of birth, the date on it was a day later than what we have always been using for my sister. We always had it as 20th sept (all her board exam certificates and even passport) and the birth certificate says 21st. My sis tried a number of times to get it changed, but they refuse vehemently. Also, the certificate is in Hindi and they are not ready to get it to us in English. Any suggestions on what to do? I am totally confused.
