Hi everyone,
I have recently received a letter from the NVC titled "Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation - You May Begin Online Processing", dated 9 Apr 2019.
My parents and I will be processed as F4 visa (F4-1 for me as children of siblings). I would like to check whether my calculation of CSPA age as below is done correctly so that I could judge my possibility of being approved.
When I check my case details on nvc.state.gove/ceac using information from the Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation, I get the following details:
PRIORITY DATE: 17-JUN-2005
When I check the Visa Bulletin for Feb 2019, under F4 | All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed (that is the category for my country), I have this date:
22 JUN 2005 --> This will be my date for CSPA age
My birth date: 7 MAR 1993
Age at 22 JUN 2005 = 22/6/2005 - 7/3/1993 = 9,462 days
I checked the I-797 form received by my sponsor (image below).
Receipt date for I-130 = 22 Jun 2005
Approval date for I-130 = 20 Jul 2009
Number of days pending = 20/7/09 - 22/6/05 = 1,489 days
CSPA age = 9,462 - 1,489 = 7,973 days = 21 years 9 months 30 days
Is my calculation done correctly? If so, does that mean my case won't be processed, only my parents because I am above 21 years old?
Thank you very much for your help in advance. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Jess
