questions on Sponsor GC for Parents

Hi,

I am US citizen and I wanted to sponsor GC for my Mom. I have couple of questions.

1. Can I sponsor GC only for my Mom as my Dad is nto intrested in it?
2. I do not have birth certificate as I was born at home. What do I do?

Yeah, you can just apply for your mother. If you want to apply for your father also, you have to fill a seperate application.
For your birth certificate, you have to get two things to make up your birth certificate if you do not have one from township.

1. Get a non-availability certificate from township officer.
2. Get an affidavit from two know (elderly people) with your birth date. Look for sample affidavit on this website.
