I am filing an i-130 for my mother who is currently in the US on a B2. Since the process may take a while, and she wants to go back to India in a few months. Question 1:is it better for her to return to US later and we file i-485 for adjustment of status, or should she go through consular processing. It seems with the former there will not be any interview (she is uncomfortable as her english is quite poor),while with the latter she will need to be in the US but no interview. Question 2: Is there any complication for her to travel on a B2 while her i-130 is pending? Question 3: Should i-864 (affidavit of support) be sent with the i-130, or should one wait for an RFE? Question 4: While she has received immunization for most common things as a child, she has no documentation available. Is it better to have i-693 completed in India or the US?
