I am really worried about my case and it took me a while before I decided to share it on here and hope that I am not alone in this. Got arrested by ICE( overstayed J1) they woke me and my gf (wife now) and arrested me like i murdered someone and after doing paperwork they released me on the same day which was probably worst day in my life. I got married with my wife in feb 2018 hired immigration lawyer to file for AOS and in aug 2018 everything was sent i130 with i765 and i485( which cant be approved before stokes interview and cancelation of deportation). Funny thing is that they received my i130 in aug but for i765 it shows november 2018. I went 2 times to give fingerprint for i485 and i765 in december and it has been a year since they got my i130 and 9 months since i765 and all it says online is “my case was received”. I have court date in sep which judge will schedule another date probably a year later in 2020 to give more time, contacted my lawyer and they filed out of regular processing time month ago and they still didnt get answer and I also filled myself online and they told me they will answer by end of august. So is there anyone in similar situation that can help me out????? I read that a lot
of NYC people have long wait times but since I am in deportation proceeding shouldnt my case be priority????
