approved F3 since 2011, can I overstay?

Me and my family have priority date (F3 visa) since 2011, now that I am in the us with 6 month tourist visa, can I overstay my visa and wait for my green card/F3 visa? also if there is away to be eligible to send my kids to school while waiting.

Adjustment of status: It means applying for the green card while within the US. In order to be able to do that in your category, you have to be in status at the time of application. So you cannot overstay your visa at the time of application.
