My husband filed for my petition thru the us embassy in kuwait(since we both live here)although we got married in a different country.Any idea how we can take over the process from the embassy to doing it ourselves over the mail directly with uscis,any details of the pros and the cons of both.

My husband filed for my petition thru the consulate in kuwait(since we both living here) but my son lives back in my country we didnt file for a separate petition for him because one of the conditions of filing for a petition thru the consulate here is the physical presence and residence of the beneficiary.anyone give me info on how to file a separate petition for my son(7yrs) and whats the process and forms to fill out.
