Hi guys,
I realized that I made a mistake while filling an I-130 for my mom. USCIS already approved the I-130 and sent to NVC for further processing. While I was preparing for civil documents for NVC, I came to know that my mom and dad were never officially married. I entered 'widowed' as my mom's marital status in I-130 instead of 'single'. I also put my deceased dad's information on I-130 without knowing that they weren't married.
Has anyone been through the similar situation and could let me know how did you handle this?
Thanks,
