Hello forum readers,
I found this forum by chance and find it to be a great way of exchanging helpful information.
I am US Citizen and have filled for GC for my parents and my 13 year old brother (German citizens). I realize that my brother falls under a different category than my parents and has a longer wait time, but are there any exceptions to that rule since he is only 13? It seems that GCs for parents are being processed much quicker and siblings have to wait for years, but are there any exceptions for under the age siblings?
Are there any cases where the parents and siblings case has been connected?
It doesn't seem logical that my parents would get a GC before he does and that it is expected from them to activate they GCs by leaving a 13 year old behind.
I am clueless and appreciate your advice/oppinion.
