Hi beautiful people, I’ve been reading a lot in here and must say that the inputs are very resourceful. I have a situation and really need your help. Me and my us citizen wife filled for my adjustment of status on August 2017 and our first interview took place on February 2019. The interview was ok, we turned in all our documents and the officer selected those she wanted . We came in with many pictures too but she selected just one out of the many. In that picture I was in the hospital carrying my wife’s last child - she just gave birth. I will give a little background to this; I met her and about 2months into our relationship she told me she hasn’t seen her period and it is very irregular but said she would wait a little and check as she was just coming out of an abusive relationship. It turned out she was pregnant indeed. It wasn’t my baby and she was scared I would leave her but I stood by her because I really love her. We moved in and got married about 4months later. So when the officer took that picture, she asked if it was my baby, I told her no it wasn’t mine. She told us we would hear from her after 2weeks or so, but shockingly we received a mail 8months after our initial interview to come for a second interview scheduled for October 18, 2019. Please I need help about possible expectations and questions from those who have have experienced this. And also, do you think we should go to the interview with our lawyer or not.
