Hello!
I'm planning to sponsor GC for my father. He is in US currently on a tourist visa.
Is it beneficial to start his processing now and file i-130 and i-485 concurrently or wait until he goes back to India. If we file concurrently now, what happens if the application is not processed before the date stamped on his passport/I-94 when he entered the country ? Will we have to abandon the application or can he stay until he gets a response on the I-130/I485 application ? Are there any risks. Please advice.
