I am planning to file concurrent (I-130 and I-485) for my dad who is on a visitor visa. His visa expires May30. As I understand, once he gets the receipt for the I-130 and I-485, its okay for him to stay even if his visa expires.
Would that be sufficient time (May 30) to get the receipt so he can continue staying in the country?
