I am US Citizen and have applied for GC for my parents.
I received a RFE for their birth certificate. I had originally submitted their schooling leaving certifcate but it is considered as asecondary evidence.
We contacted the authorities in India and found out that my parents birth was registered with the authorities. We were able to get a birth certificate for my mother and all detail were correct. In regards to my father, the birthdate that was registered is 03/04, but his correct birthdate is 03/03 and this date is on all his official documents such as passports, ID Cards and so on. I know that it is off by one day. What should I do? Should I get an affividavit from his sisters that the correct date is 03/03?
