I got my GC in 2010 Feb based on spouse citizenship, was due for expiry after 10 yrs in Feb 2020. Filed I-90 online through USCIS for renewal on Aug 31 2019.Completed biometrics appmt on Sep 27th and was put sticker for extension till 2020 on back of my GC.
How long does it take to get GC renewal approval for another 10 years?
During biometrics appointment i was told i must be good for travel out of US and enter US with the sticker.If needed i was told i can make an appointment to get the I551 stamp on my passport.If i need to travel to India and come back in the meantime do i still need to get I551 stamp on my passport or must be good with just the sticker on back of my GC?
We had relocated to India for 2 yrs between 2010( after receiving my GC) and 2012 and came back to US with reentry permit.Does this affect my GR renewal approval?
