Maiden Name in Mother's Birth Certificate (for GC)

Hello Everyone, filed GC for my parents. Recently got my mother's birth certificate issued (for the first time).

But it has her married name . Should it have her maiden name ?

All other documents like her passport, my birth certificate have her married name. even my parents marriage certificate has her married name. i do have an old affidavit from her stating and declaring her name change after marriage.

Do i need to get her birth certificate reissued ( extremely difficult task as getting the first one itself took very long)?
