  • Please Help!!!!!

Hello, I have a question. My situation is that I tried to apply for a green card with my US citizen wife. Problem is, I did political asylum 2011 and was denied and had an order for removal, and overstayed that by 7 years. Now when we try to apply, any attorney we speak to tells us that it's a big risk when we apply for the i130, and that I will possibly be deported. I just want to find out if it's any chance to have this fixed? Also I'm almost 10 Years in the US with no criminal record or any bad record. Also paying taxes and living a typical community life. Can I-601 help in this or any recommendations please?.. Thank you!!!

There are two ways you can try
1st you have to submit a waiver and hope it gets accepted.

The other one is you have to prove that if you were to get deported your wife and children will have hard time in the United States. you can try to prove mental instability or if there is any health issue and you can try to win a waiver that way. Do this only if you really have a problem.

    But it is not guaranteed.
