Updating information after sending in forms

I have an I-130 lodged with the Nebraska service centre , I am the beneficiary. The passport number I gave has now expired and I have a new one, so the one on the form is incorrect.

what , if anything do I need to do to give them the updated passport number ?

my wife, who is a us citizen , her passport is correct

The information on the form needs to be accurate at the time of submission.
If your passport expired AFTER submitting the form, you do not need to take any action. You are good. This is no different than providing an I-94 and expiration information with an application which can change.

The last helpful member was correct. You don't have to do anything or "fix" anything. You should now start using your newer passport number immediately for all paperwork going forward. Be sure to have a copy of your expired passport (and original) to take with you to the interview.
