Foreign spouse working for foreign company

My foreign spouse is working remotely a few hours a week from her company that is based in her home country- the company does not have any base in the USA. She plans to quit this company after getting a green card because she'll then start working here in the USA.

The problem is that whole issue with "employment" during the adjustment of status waiting period. Unless we put in an authorization to work- and we will, then she isn't allowed to work until she gets that approval, right? Even if the company she works for is completely based in her home country and has no ties- or employees in the USA, correct?
