I am a US citizen residing in Colombia and preparing USCIS form i-130 & docs for my Colombian wife. The mail service is so unreliable that any mail from USCIS is certain to be lost or stolen.
Fedex is the only reliable service we've found.
Is there a commonly used immigration service that we can use to receive mail sent to us from USCIS and State, etc. and timely forward to us in Colombia via Fedex?
We have friends in the US that could do this, but I read that this raises a red flag with USCIS reviewers that will threaten approval.
I see services and law firms that will do this, along with assistance in the application process. However, we can complete and provide all documents and don't have any problems that would require attorneys. I don't really want that expense, unless there is no other way.
Thanks
