Average wait time for spouse green card after POE?

Hi everyone. I was hoping to get a general idea of how long new immigrants have to wait before receiving their green card in the mail after the initial point of entry into the US? My wife arrived in the US in November of 2019 with a CR-1 visa from France. We were told repeatedly by US immigration officials at the French embassy and border agents that we would receive her plastic green card in the mail within a month after arriving in the states. It has been about three months since she has arrived and we still haven't gotten anything.
Does anyone have any similar experiences with this?
