Hello All,
Please help with these questions...
I'm a US citizen (naturalized in Dec2009) with a valid US passport & naturalization certification.
1) What all supporting documents needed to apply for I-130 for my mother & father? (since both are in India, I have to go through consular processing)
2) Do I have to apply I-130 separately for mom & dad?
3) Immihelp website says that "An original statement from a U.S. consular officer verifying that you are a U.S. citizen with a valid passport."...is it really needed?, if so, how & where can I get it?
4) For relationship proof, I have my birth certificate which doesnot mention my name (according Indian culture, child will be named after a month or so during naming cermony). I also have a Indian notarized affidavit from my Dad which says mentions my name & also states that my mom was married to him.
So, shall I send the photocopy of both the documents?, or do I need to get it signed by a notary service?
Thanks a lot in advance...
Nags
