Just yesterday January 29, 2011 i tried to log in into NVC payment website and i got a "LOG IN FAILED"... is this a good sign?

I got approved i-130 pd sep2010, NVC asking to pay $88 fee for AOS, Iam in us want to apply adjust of status but priority date 1jan08, so what is the next step
with NVC because they already emailed 2 times.please advice.

I believe as you are talking about for I-130 it might be F2A Spouse category. My PD is Aug 8 2010. Last in Dec 2010 they took dates before Aug 1 2010. As you have PD in Sep 2010 and as of my knowledge they have not taken any dates after Aug 1 2010, Can you please tell me when did you receive mail from NVC? What exactly did they ask for? Did they contact you first or you asked them first?

I would really appreciate your help if you can explain me in detail.

How do u come to know that your case is completed on January 11, 2011, i tried to login to NVC payment website and I too got the "LOG IN FAILED" just want to know when my case got completed my priority date is February 1, 2009.

At present retrogression is in affecting our category. Nobody including me has any idea when the VB starts going again.

Hey All! I'm new here and just joining in! My father (LPR) filed a petition for my sister, under F2A cat... I just received email and text alert from USCIS regarding about my sis case. They just received her case on Feb 11,2011. How long does it take to approve F2A from USCIS? How long does it take the whole process? She was born in July 30,1992. I am worry about age out. I haven't seen my sis for 15 years...I cann't wait to see her again.

I have a question here... I am going to send the DS-230 form and civil documents to NVC pretty soon, waiting for a police clearance certificate. Do I have to send any of the educational certificatesof the applicant to NVC? At any point during the process, esp. at the interview will they ask for the applicant's educational certificates? pls reply.. those who have sent DS-230 and who have had attended interview could help.. thanks...

No need of sending any educational certificates. You might want to take them for the interview, just to show them if asked.

At present time F2A category is under-retrogression and the latest priority date being processed is 01Jan2007. Search for Visa Bulletin and read that.
