I have wrote again to them particularly asking them about case completion date.... now lets see if get same answer will call them.... in my previous emails reply i get from them that my case is in case completion list is this means my case is completed and waiting for country quota for interview.....

I call that no. and got the NVC completion date its 14 Jan 2011 so relieved i thought i am missing some communication from them but not relieved thank u

So I called USCIS and they told me I'll be notified within 30 days about whats going on with my file. I haven't received an I-130 approval yet and I'm afraid they might have misplaced my file or something worse.
Do they usually get back within 30 days?

Visjig are you waiting for your PD to become current? You had your interview already, correct?

Interview already done in Nov 2010 and GC in hand on Feb 2011. This is the reason I come to this forum once a month now..........

Good News Visa Bulletin for month of September 2011 declared F2A moves 4 months new priority dates is 01 December 2008 i am 2 months sort to currents hopefully will get it done soon all the best............

i'm 3 months short to becoming current too.. my PD is march 2009..i'm hoping that my case will be current on october and will be scheduled for medical and interview soon..

oh yeah i'm sorry i was wrong..just got too excited, hahaha!! but many were saying that on october when the new fiscal year would start, our case will be current..just being hopeful..

In this confusion and excitement of 2009 and 2010.... i went back and check my letter and its confirm mine is 2009 and hopeful the call letter for interview next month

Ok so I contacted USCIS and the the USCIS headquarters because I haven't received my approval for the I-130 I filed for my husband in Aug 2010 !!
when I contacted USCIS with the 1-800 number they told me to wait 30 days for a letter that said that I will be notified within 60 days about my case and almost 90 days passed so I contacted the headquarters of USCIS. From the headquarters I was told that they are now reviewing cases from sept 2010 so they were going to contact the vermont service center, but I haven't received any letter yet or a phone call which the lady from the headquarters said she would do.
I am not sure what I am supposed to do from here. A year has passed since I filed the I-130. I feel like I'm going in circles.

October 2011 visa bulletin declare.... 8 january 2011moved almost 38 days... was expecting atleast 2 months and my interview call now had to wait one more month if it moved positively.... lets hope for the best

Do not worry my friend. the approval of I-130 might take time as cases are backing up (I think). Do not worry. The process takes time.
