Hi There -
I need to file I-130 at the Delhi consulate for my parent, and once approved, file the petition in Chennai consulate to obtain GC for my parent again. She has a green card, however did not travel back to US for over two years given my employment in India for the last two years.
Now, I am returning to US, when enquired to reinstate her GC, was told in Chennai consulate to reapply I-130 in Delhi for a speedy process.
The problem now is, I don't have a job and hence no income at the moment. However, I have a decent savings account and a house in US. Would that be sufficient for the sponsor letter? Anyone has a similar experience?
Thanks
