  • Application Rejected/Re-using documents

My application for concurrent filing was rejected and sent back to me by USCIS. For the following reasons,
    1. Incorrect fee: I sent checks that had my name on it (not my sponsors).
      • Could that be it? I combined the fee for I-485 and biometric ($1225)
    2. Application/Petition was not fully completed. One or more of the following field(s) were not completed:
      • "Application Type"
        • What I think could have caused this is, I checked boxes that should have been check by someone who is "Employment based", Part2 9.a. (I checked "No") and Part2.10 (I checked "No")
They sent back all applications and supporting documents. My questions:
    • Can I re-submit the same applications that USCIS did not call incomplete? (like I-130, I-130a, I-944)
    • Can I re-submit the same supporting documents?

The reason I ask this is because USCIS has marked all pages at the bottom of each page (application and supporting document). Anyone faced anything similar? suggestions? Thoughts?

Yes, if you've got the forms rejected and the USCIS tells you what to fix. You can simply fix the error, put everything back in an envelope and send it to them again. Assuming that you fix the problems that they're indicating, you should be accepted this time around. You should still check your other documents for completeness, but if they weren't specifically called out in error, then you won't need to do anything with them. Just package them back together and send them.
    --Good luck--
Good luck. I learned the hard way, I hope you don't have to. Immigration is interesting. Not considered as legal advice.
