Hello Seniors,

[1] Can we apply multiple GC under different categories as such " GC - Family Based + GC - Employer Based " ?

[2] If my family apply for GC and I am already staying in US (on H1B), will that get faster processing or higher priority?

**The situation I have is: I am on H1B and I want to make sure I get extension beyond 6 Yrs. Please advice.

if you have an approved LC or I-140, you will be qualified for 7th year extension.

Family means: spouse (definitely faster than employment based)
but if other family members...you already know the answer.
