    Marriage certificate for US immigration

    Hello, I am so confused about the name change of my wife after marriage, her maiden name is Fatima Tahir and her new name is Fatima Usman. So, whether the marriage certificate will have her new name for US immigration paperwork or the old one? If not can her CNIC (Pakistani nationality) can be used as a proof for name change?

    If the marriage was in the U.S., the marriage certificate will show her maiden name.

      No, marriage was in Pakistan. So, what would be the proof of her new name? I am asking this for I-130 form for spouse US immigration. Thanks
