I'm trying to fill out the I-130 forms for DH and I, but question 14 is concerning me.
I came through the US border in December 2009, planning to come for a 5 day visit. Because I'm Canadian, they didn't give me an I-94. I ended up staying until the present, leaving briefly for a month for the birth of my niece.
I didn't receive an I-94 that time, but did however, receive a stamp in my passport with: Admitted Apr 6 2010 Class B-2. No expiry date was given. My 6 month less a day will be third week in July (from December date).
Will my Petition be rejected because I don't have an I-94? Do I write N/A in the spaces provided? Is there something I can provide instead? I think I have a receipt for my shuttle crossing at the border in December. That may be all the evidence I have.
A lawyer is not an option.
Thanks in advance!
