  • how to retain my expired Green card

My father and i are greencard holders . we recieved greencard in year 2013 and we managed to retain it till 2015 . and we couldnot go thereafter as our circumstances didnot favour us .

My grandparents were on bed and my father being the only son had to manage everything all by himself . But now we are planning to shift USA permanently . plz let me know what are the proceedings to do so and how can we retain our green card.

Can any attorney help us for the same .willing to collabrate with an attorney

You could try to apply for an SB-1 returning resident visa, but the changes are probably not good.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

This will be a tough sell. I am hoping you continued to maintain ties to the US during your time outside the country (most importantly filing taxes, hopefully some property / rental in the US etc).
You will need to file for an SB-1 (returning resident visa). The criteria is tough as you need to prove that your stay outside the US was beyond your control (and caring for elders is not one of them)
