I recently submitted a concurrently filed I-130 and I-485 for my wife. We're a bit short on documentation that shows our finances being intermingled, so we included 4 affidavit letters from friends attesting to the bona fides of our marriage and relationship.
My question is this: I scanned and submitted copies of these affidavit letters with the I-130, but was I supposed to submit the originals with wet signature? I know that the instructions say not to submit originals, but then there's this page that says we should submit originals of documents prepared "solely for the purpose of presentation to USCIS": https://www.uscis.gov/us-visa-and-im...inal-documents
Did I screw up by submitting the photocopies and not the originals? Has anyone else done so, and did it result in an RFE or other issues? Or are we safe in having submitted only the photocopies?
Thanks!
