  • NVC (Documentarily Qualified) to Interview / Marriage-based Greencard

    Hello Immihelp community!

My husband and I received a notification from the National Visa Center on May 13 that our immigrant visa case is documentarily qualified. Now we are waiting for the next steps / interview summons from the US Embassy in Paris, France.

I am wondering, is anyone in a similar situation or has anyone gone through this process in France? How long does it typically take for the NVC to transfer your case to the Embassy? How long might it take with COVID? Also, are the US Embassies even open / interviewing applicants for marriage-based greencards?

Also, if it's helpful, I've included our timeline below! Thanks in advance for any info

    Best regards,

    Shirley
