My dad introduce two petitions for us

Hi everyone, let me try to explain my case, my dad already past away but he introduce a petition for us when he was a citizen and our petitions are still waiting, I have a priority date for July 30 2007, but, my mom tell me a few years ago that she remember when my dad was a resident he do the first petition for all the family back in the 90´s, unfortunely we don´t have any document of that time.

Does anyone know how can we know if he really did that? And if he did, our petitions can reduce the waiting time?
