How to begin the green card process

We are trying to bring mom here . My sis is the US citizen . Can someone please take us through the process and average cost it will be

You start by filing form I-130 (cost is $535)

If Mom is already in the US: After I-130 approval, you file form I-485 (cost is $1,225)

If Mom is outside the US: After I-130 approval, File DS260 (& I864) - cost is $500 -> attend interview at the consulate -> if approved, get immigrant visa stamp -> enter the US as an LPR
