What is Next After Filling I-130?

Hi All,

I recently applied I-130 For My Mother Who Is Outside Of USA. So, I Wanted To Know What Is The Next Step After I-130?
I-130 has been accepted and is being processed in Texas, I believe. Since there is no finger print, is the next step a visa interview?

Also, when I look at the processing time , it states that "6 Months to 8 Months |
U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21
November 29, 2019". Does it mean, currently they are looking at applications that were applied back in November? How often do they update it?

First I-130 has to be approved by USCIS. And then it goes to NVC and the consulate for Consular Processing. The processing time you are looking at is for the I-130; so it takes that many months for USCIS to approve it before they send it to NVC. It may be slower now as most of USCIS will soon be furloughed. But even if the I-130 was approved faster it wouldn't help, as issuance of immigrant visas have been suspended until the end of the year anyway. (And after the end of the year there will probably be a backlog of cases at the consulate.)

It's to be expected that the USCIS employees who got the furlough notices (and there are a LOT of them) would be looking for new jobs.
You can imagine what such a situation does for their day-to-day morale and interest in doing their current jobs when they know their jobs are not secure.

My application is marriage based and submitted outside the US:

I-130 Filed: NOV-2019
Receipt Notice: NOV-2019
Approval Notice: JUL-2020
Received by NVC: JUL-2020
Fees Paid: JUL-2020

We just paid the fees so waiting for acceptance and then next we fill out the forms on the NVC site.
