f2b petition and visitor visa

hello all. my son had applied for a visitor visa which was issued to him way back in 2006 in mumbai US embasy. We had filed for him a immigrant petiton under f2b for him and he had also mentioned it on his form about the same. However he didnt mention about his sister who is on workpermit in US..Now will this create any issues with the petition.

It can create problems. It is best to always tell the truth. Why would he lie about his sister's presence in the US?
