  • Removal of conditions I-751 - N/A or blank

    Hi Guys -

I have a temporary Green Card based on my marriage with USC.
Filing my I-751 (removal of conditions) form next week. I am hearing that they are rejecting applications where any field is left blank - and that they want all blank fields to be replaced with 'N/A'.

QUESTION 1: Should ALL other fields which don't have any data in it be filled with 'N/A'?

    QUESTION 2:

There is some discrepancy in where my wife's name shows her middle name and where it doesn't.
    1) Does NOT appear In the original application for the Green Card
    2) Does NOT appear in her Passport
    3) Her SSN card only shows middle initial
    4) Does NOT appear on marriage certificate
    5) DOES appear on birth certificate.

Question is - for the I-751, should the middle name be listed? Or blank? Or 'N/A'?

    Thank you!

First and Last names matter. Her proof of being a US citizen is her passport. Use the name as listed on there

R78 - ok thanks! Also , is it advisable to then put 'N/A' for middle name or keep blank??

Also - for all the other blank fields in the form is it better to put 'N/A'? thats a lot of 'N/A's!

The I-751 form instructions are clear. So follow them.....
Answer all questions fully and accurately.
If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed.
If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless otherwise directed.

A similar question and responses for your info:

Has anyone received an RFE or rejection for not writing None or N/A in case a question doesn’t apply to you on any of the AOS forms? USCIS form filing tips do mention that this should be done, and I don’t think I followed this very well throughout the forms. Just wondering how big of a deal it is - whether they might issue
USC filed AOS for parents on B2. I am not a lawyer.
