  • I130 request for evidence

Hello everyone, I’m new here, i have some queries if someone can answer.
my sister applied immigration as siblings under I-130 petition back in 2013 for me and 2 other siblings.
Today she got a letter from immigration with the title “request for evidence” in which they ask me to provide Evidence documentary or medical (DNA) that im her real brother,
should I provide DNA report to them or documentary evidence will be enough.
2nd question, have they already started my case or its just a routine inquiry, because my case was submitted at vermont service Center and they calculate processing time for I-130 92-121 month and my case was submitted approximately 87 month ago so technically few months remaining to touch that barrier.
any help would be appreciated, thanks ????

You MUST give them DNA ( as well as other evidence) that proof this is indeed your sister. DNA is the most important evidence. If she is your sister via adoption, then provide other evidences. That just the 1st step. I had to do the same thing with my dad before they approved mine in 2010. If you don't have an approval and have not file I-485, this is just the beginning.
    05/08/20: I-485, I-765, I-131, I-944 sent to USCIS
05/13 Rejected due to lack of I-864
    05/27 resubmitted with explanation
    06/03 Rejected again-same reason
    06/13 Resubmitted with I-864
07/07 Lockbox emailed back and ask to resubmit
07/09 Filings accepted with PD 05/08/20 (nice)
08/06 Prior biometrics applied to I485
08/28 Took biometrics for I-765 only
    09/28 I-765's Cards Ordered
    10/02 EAD/AP received
    04/12 Interview Sched
05/11 Interview done approval on the spot but no USCIS update online
