Employer 1485/family based I485

My employer has filed the green card for me and my I 485 is pending and waiting for the visa availability.I am now on EAD and has my HIB till this october My priority date is 2004 october on EB3.
Now my wife become us citizen and in march i filed petition for adjustment of status and did the finger print again and had a successful interview with immigration officer as well.After the interview he said i would be getting my greencard with in 3 to 4 weeks.As of today i havent received any approval for my EAD , I-131 and also I 130.I took an infopass and the officer said i have to withdraw my employer petioned I 485 from texas service center and get a letter to the local office.
i was wondering anybody experianced similar situation or not?
and also would there be any probelm if i didnt get my family based green card with in my H1B expiration date which is on october.
your advise will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

No issue if your H1 expires as you do not need a H1 any more.

Remember you have a conditional GC with will have to get the conditions
removed on completion of 2 years.

This does not have anyhting to do with your Status / eligibility to work.
