Hello,
I have filed for my brothers in September 2006. they transferred the application from Vermont to Texas. It is still showing in Initial Review Status. How long does it normally take to move to the next stage?

I applied in March 2001 and got request for further evidence in October 2005. After providing them with further evidence, 3 weeks later got the approval. Finally this month (2010) my Priority Date became current and now I am applying for my Green Card. So in short, it took 9 1/2 years and now another six month wait to obtain my Green Card.
