hi there
i have a valid visitor visa to the us. and my sister is a recent citizen there. she is willing to sponser me for a GC. i know that one cannot apply for a visa after a petition is filed. but can i travel to and fro from the usa with my current visa even after a petition has been filed on my behalf? and what about concurrent filing ??. it does not specifically say whether i am eligible or not .

Once your sister applies for you, it may take around nine years, plus a few months. So if you want to travel back and forth, use your visa.
