  • 17 getting married..immigration rules??

I am seventeen years old making eighteen in a couple weeks and i am getting married on september 25..my fiance is 18 already and is joining the air force. I am really confused right now..I came to the us on a visitors visa when i was nine years old and i have never left..i recently graduated from high school..While i was looking up information i realized that i dont have a lot of the documents necessary to prove a bona fide marriage and i am wondering if that will prevent me from gaining citizenship...my marriage is real i am in love with my fiance. we have been together since i was 11 years old and he was 12. I know everything about him but for example we dont have joint credit card statements, etc so i am kind of scared.

also i think that i would be able to adjust status because i entered legally..but i would like to be sure..so will i?
So i would like to know if i will have more problems than normal in processing and how long it would take to process and any other helpful information anyone has to share...thanks

Don't worry about anything, just go ahead and get married and file your stuff. Your status being undocumented, try to consult a couple of attornies who offers free initial consultation. You'll get your answers and the forums you can get from the USCIS site.
    Good Luck!
